Makerspace
From 3D printing to digital artistry, ASU Library Makerspace provides hands-on experience with equipment and tools that are free to use for ASU students, faculty and staff to inspire learning, creativity and innovation. Supporting a social, collaborative learning environment, makerservices brings people from all disciplines and backgrounds together to make, learn and share – creating something altogether new in the process.
Map and Geospatial Hub
Creating new scholarly journeys is at the heart of ASU Library’s Map and Geospatial Hub, an interdisciplinary unit focused on advancing knowledge creation through increased access to geospatial technologies and cartographic resources. Providing GIS tools, learning programs, workshops and research opportunities, the Map and Geospatial Hub leverages its significant map, data and technology resources to educate and collaborate across ASU communities and beyond.
Data Science and Analytics
Connecting researchers university-wide in the pursuit of data-driven research, ASU Library's Unit for Data Science and Analytics works with both students and faculty to leverage unique research opportunities that harness the methods and technologies of data science. This unit encompasses a growing community of practitioners and partners from disciplines as diverse as art history and engineering to urban planning and language and literature.
